Teala and Brian met through two of their good friends, Kendra and Jarrett (both in the wedding party). Teala and Kendra have been friends since seventh grade, and Brian and Jarrett were roommates back in their days at Texas Tech University. When they first met, Teala and Brian weren’t very fond of each other. However, in May 2010 at a graduation celebration, they hit it off over Noam Chomsky, Jasper Fforde, and other nerdy talk. They have been having great, nerdy adventures ever since.
